Options in gene model search drop down should be species names, not gensp abbreviations #688

Okay to show gensp in ()'s but need to display species names.

Example: Phaseolus vulgaris (phavu)

let's not change this without further discussion. it will likely break some things (e.g. tours) that
use query strings with species codes to effect the needful. If it can be effected as a purely cosmetic
change or we agree to make changes elsewhere to compensate and we don't mind having a wide
dropdown (e.g. the width of Cicer arietinum CDCFrontier) then it may be OK to do something of the sort.
