Frequently (almost always?), the first thing I want to do when I pop the browser is check to see if I am using a particular tag already, or what variation I'd previously decided to use. Most of the rest of the time, I'm just trying to look at a group of related tags.
Currently, the text field is pre-focused whenever the dialog is opened, but contents are not selected; if I want to use a completely new filter, I have to make sure the cursor is at the end (not guaranteed), and delete the whole line. This isn't a huge inconvenience, but it's enough that every time I open the tab browser, I miss this feature.
