[Request] 1.20.1 Support? #98

Will this amazing classic be getting an update to 1.20.1?

Thankyou for keeping an old classic mod alive :)

So far porting is going as well as expected. No eta yet, maybe 2-3 weeks for NeoForge builds. After the that I'll look into Fabric/Quilt.

What about normal Forge? IDK if it and NeoForge are crosscompatible for 1.20.1.

I believe NeoForge and Forge are currently cross compatible, although they may not be in the future

They are for 1.20.1, but for versions beyond, such as 1.20.4, there will probably be some breaking changes.

Is it possible for a forge version to be made for curseforge at all? Also thankyou for working to bring this to 1.20.1.

Well, I still using Forge instead of NeoForge because most of mods that I have installed previously on 1.12.2 are not ported yet to NeoForge for 1.20.x and some don't work on 1.20.x NeoForge (I not including this which are not ported to any next version like 1.13 etc. because they are pobably dead mods) so for me it is normal that I won't change modloader to NeoForge. I will be glad if you port this mod also on regular Forge ofcourse after you done porting on currently target modloaders.

Unfortunately with a dev team of one, I have to make choices about what mod loaders I can support. The more I support, the more time I have to spend supporting them and the less time I have supporting future ports. Currently, that isn't much of an issue with Forge and NeoForged being mostly the same on 1.20.1 up until some more recent versions. However, beyond that things will change and I have to start looking at that path now. It's hard to say what life will throw at me whittling down what time I do have, but I don't see myself wanting to spend every waking moment trying to support all possible mod loaders. I'll do what I can, but can promise nothing beyond that.
