Macbook8,1 12" (2015) Support? #15

Do you think this could be addapted for the first retina macbook?

I tried for a couple weeks to get that working on the 2015 model to no avail. The architecture on the 2015 model is slightly different then the 2016 + 2017 models and I just don't have the time to dedicate towards that endeavor any longer.
