It works for me with Sonoma v14.1.1, primarily using an 8x8, but the others should work, and have been tested to properly download the firmware.
I've tried to make this work with Sonoma on an Intel Macbook Pro Seems everything installed correctly, but I can't see the devices in MIDI Studio
Trying with a Radium49
Ok, have you downloaded and installed the M-Audio v3.5.3 DMG file per the instructions in the README? To aid the diagnosis, use /Applications/Utilities/System Information.app
to examine the Hardware
-> USB
list. Use File
-> Refresh Information
to ensure the USB list is up to date. Search through the tree of devices listed, looking for Vendor ID: 0x0763 (M-Audio)
(it will probably be described as "Composite Device"). Post the Product ID value here, and we can see if that is supported by the firmware downloader.
I installed it yesterday on Sonoma 14.4.1 (Mac Mini M2) for a Midisport UNO. Installation worked flawlessly out of the box, without any special additional intervention. Using it is fine as well. @leighsmith Thank you for your work!

Same here, Radium49 on a MacBook Pro M1 with Sonoma 14.6 . Nothing shows in MIDI studio. When I tried to install the "M-Audio USB MIDI Support Installer.pkg" from the downloaded MIDI_USB_OSX_3.5.3.DMG, it says : "This package is incompatible with this version of macOS. The package is trying to install content to the system volume. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." But installing the "MIDISPORTDriver-v1.3.1.pkg"populated the /usr/local/etc/midisport_firmware with all the firmware .ihx files. This comes up in System Report > USB: Vendor-Specific Device: Product ID: 0x1014 Vendor ID: 0x0763 (M-Audio) Version: 0.01 I'd love to have this working! Thanks for the work!
Just installed on M2 macbook air running Sonoma, simple install, works a dream! !

@leighsmith leighsmith
¿Cual sería el camino correcto para installar el driver y que se pueda detectar el Oxigen 8?
Espero su ayuda y la ayuda de la comunidad de Github

@leighsmith leighsmith What would be the correct way to install the driver so that Oxygen 8 can be detected?
I look forward to your help and the help of the Github community.
I have three 2x2 and 1 4x4, will this work with macOS Sonoma?
