Around 15 min is what I approximated by average talking speed on the script (2400 words). Would you like to review it? I’m of course very open to criticism and would love to hear your comments and ideas.

How long of a video do you think this will end up being? I really like your idea regardless!

Sure! I'll take a look. I'll be honest, I don't know if I have the time to make a longer video like that because I'm a teacher and am really close to starting my school year but I may be able to help and if not, I can at least still give advice on the script!

I have a lot of free time so I'm okay with doing the "Work" part. And honestly, I want to. Part of my motivation for this project is wanting to create something.

About the author
Im a third year physics student with 6 years of experience at teaching math to kids with special emotinal needs. I would like to showcase a big problem in the way we teach math to kids and even studnets using a problem with a beutifull solution I came acrros years ago. Also English is my second languge so I apologize in advance for any spelling or grammer mistaked I am bound to make.
Quick Summary
What I would like to share that i've learned from working with kids that have deep difficulties learning math is the value of teaching in terms of ideas and not symbols. It might feel obvious that it should be taught that way, espacially for people who consume math in their free time but it isn't usually taught that way and it can be surprisinglly difficult to explain an idea without relaying on symbols and algorithmic thinking.
Target medium
Youtube video
More details
The problem is given any rectangle that can be broken into smaller rectangles such that each small rectangle has at least one side of integer length, prove that the big rectangle must also have at least one side of integer length. The solution I would like to show is very elegant but it isn't the simplest, so the video is less about solving the problem and more about the actual solution and its inherent beauty.
I already wrote a script and made half of the animations (Using python and the manim library) however I dont have the skills to record the verbal explanation or to edit it all together. If you have the right skills and you like the idea I would love for you to join me.
