2 years ago Hello there. I saw your 'Target Medium' part and would like to collab with you on the project. Are you interested in making the video with a JavaScript/TypeScript library? I have one (quite similar to Grant's Manim, which he used to make his YouTube videos). You can check some of the videos made with it on this page. About the author
I am a Senior Math and Computer Science double major. I've also worked as a math tutor for the past three years. I wouldn't personally consider myself an expert in mathematics, but I've developed enough of a skill for reading and parsing academic papers and journals that I believe it would be beneficial to share the most interesting nuggets I find with a more general audience.
Quick Summary
Ulam's Game is an extension of the traditional 20 Questions Game between two players. A search space is agreed upon, and one player selects an object from the search space. The other gets a certain number of 'yes' or 'no' questions to ascertain the chosen object. The twist is that the one answering the questions is allowed to lie at most one time, which makes the reasoning a little harder. The proposed video would analyze the optimal strategy for a specific case of this game (or in general if I can come up with a good way to do it).
The target audience is the kind of person who is "math curious," not necessarily someone who is a "math person," though there is obviously much overlap in these two groups. To this end, the content for this video requires, to the best of my knowledge, only basic high school algebra to fully comprehend. I hope to provide a jumping off point for further thought into this area by providing related questions.
Target medium
I was hoping to make a YouTube video in an animated style, and eventually a full YouTube channel in the same style. I was originally planning on doing everything myself (because I started working on this before I knew there was going to be a second of these contests), and I was planning on learning Manim for it. However, I'm not picky about the visual style as long as it's visually appealing.
So, I'm looking for anyone with the skills to animate nice looking math graphics, as well as the editing skills to compile them into a finished product.

I'm currently typing this on my phone but I will post my mostly finished outline the earliest chance I get. It's got all of the earlier details filled out, but I'm still working on filling out the latter fourth of the document. It's also a rough draft, but I figure something is better than nothing when it comes to this kind of thing.
