Bug: Unable to open app after installing #603

Bug description

I'm using an M1 MacBook Pro, and have installed the MeetingBar app but it won't open. I see a banner telling me MeetingBar wants to send me notifications, but nothing happens after I click allow. I've tried installing both using Homebrew and App Store. Doesn't work for some reason. I also used the x86_64 emulation mode via Rosetta, but that doesn't seem to help.

Reproduction steps

For Rosetta mode

  1. Install Rosetta using softwareupdate --install-rosetta via command line
  2. Right click MeetingBar.app in /Applications folder, and select "Open using Rosetta" under General
  3. Opening MeetingBar will now use the emulation mode.

Expected behavior

Huh I logged out, and logged back in! It worked
