Mathematical Typesetting shows strange effect

Since some days, I have the strange situation, that draw.io (i.e. clicking on the figure in dokuwiki) shows formulas correctly (e.g. $$U_1$$ leads to U with suffix 1), but saving the diagram shows again $$U_1$$ in dokuwiki.. The "mathematical typesetting" in "Extras" is marked.

Another plain installation shows similar behavior at my server. Might be a problem of diagrams.net but I don't know where to start...

Oh man, why don't you try to solve it on your own? This is open source. I've started this project, but I am not willing to implement and troubleshoot somebodies issues during my private time and for free.. sorry about that..
