4 years ago Some ideas and open questions:
- Bounties can only be put on known outlaws.
- Bounties can only be put by cmdrs with positive Karma (TBD: >0 or >100).
- Would be useful to have a notion of how trustworthy a Cmdr is (i.e. how likely is it that they will pay the reward).
- Reveal the name of the commander(s) who placed the bounty upon fulfillment? Or don't hide it in the first place?
- Allow to specify conditions, e.g. video proof required, screenshot required?
- Allow multiple bounties from different commanders.
- Should Bounties be a one-off affair or should there be permanent bounties for each kill?
Commands:
- !bounties to get a list of outlaws with active bounties + last sighted info
- !bounty
## (in million credits) - Show signal(s) about active bounties in the realtime alerts
It would be interesting to allow players to place a bounty on a known outlaw, and allow enforcer to be rewarded for their efforts. This would also create interesting in-game opportunities, e.g. motivation for bounty hunting, cashing-in events with escorts, etc.
