starting 0.16.2. reports Could not retrieve vcs-conf for active package. No vcs-conf set up. #438

i get with a well working 0.16.2 version on debian stretch during startup several lines with

update workspace info called Could not retrieve vcs-conf for active package. No vcs-conf set up.

i saw that this was an issue way back (perhaps only with windows), but i cannot find information what the vcs-conf file is neither where it should be and how it is produced. thank you!

still present in 17.0.0
