I assume you removed the date to avoid the commas? It seems to be correct to put comma before and after the year when it comes mid sentence. I'll keep the full date in case someone reads this next year.
Well, one reason is unneeded verbosity. The other reason is that yes, you'd need another comma after the year, and the result is stealing emphasis from the actual message.
How about "in April 2020, ..."?
I'm happy with this and plan on merging it after releasing early next week. I'll make a final commit to update the date when I do, and to add a new banner image unless @runfalk you beat me to it.
Feel free to add the banner, I don't have any images at hand. Happy wit the post as it is.
