Hi, any tips in how to compile openssl I'm getting this error

gmake: *** no targets specified and no makefile found. stop.

It seems that you are running ndk-pkg in WSL. You could run export GITHUB_ACTIONS=true and try again. it will result in ndk-pkg to install aux tools by fetching prebuild binaries rather than building them locally.
