2 hours ago I like this idea and it reminds me of how FIFA handles their squad/player lists where they will be frozen on your save and when you start a new career you can opt-in to use the latest squads.
However, due to copyright/licensing reasons I cannot use real team names and squads. So that is why I purposefully shuffled the teams around.
One thing I can do however is filter out a list of known pro teams and players and basically just exclude them from the app so that they do not break immersion.
Additionally, I do plan on allowing for some sort of modding or customization system where users can plug-in their own custom team names, players, and logos. Very much how the modding community does that for FIFA. I think that would be okay as it wouldn't be my app providing the copyright data.
Describe the Feature
It would help a lot with immersion if it were according to the HLTV ranking, and each tier had teams with a higher rank... one idea would be for the tier teams to be automatically updated every week according to the HLTV ranking, if someone started a save there It would already be frozen according to what is happening in the simulations of that person's save, but when someone starts a new save it would already be updated
