Instead of nothing as the default log message, there should be one of a random selection of ways to die.

"In case I get hit by a bus."

This recommendation is based on two theories:

  1. The opportunity to create a log message is more likely to be exercised when the alternative is incorrect information, than when the alternative is no information.
  2. If theory 1 is correct, the results will be better log messages. If theory 1 is incorrect, the results will be funny.
