Events not showing for kitkat 4.4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install on Nexus 5 with Kitkat 4.5
2. Add widget to a screen
3. Configure by setting calendars

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the events for the subscribed calendars.
I see a heading for "Today" with no calendar events 

What Android OS are you using? Which version of Agenda Widget
Kitkat4.4 with Agenda:2.1.13

Please provide any additional information below.
Great work, loved this on my previous phone.

Please attach a log file attachment if possible in the case of force
closes.

Please add a label for the category of error (e.g. if dates are showing
incorrectly please choose "DateFormat"

OK, so when I actually bothered to RTFM I discovered that turning off calendar 
scrolling resolved the reported issue.  I can see that others have found this 
out too.  Thanks.

Fails on Nexus 4 with KitKat 4.4.2 using either Nova or Google Now launcher.
