Fixes #2

Git on Linux doesn't like these broken symlinks.

You might want to test this PR locally before merging it, because I'm not sure what Git does with symlinks on Windows.

Cloning works fine on Windows. Apparently Windows Git client doesn't create symlinks at all (as they're not really a Windows feature), and that's why it worked before. I'll be removing the submodule now that it has become obsolete.
