Disable the annoying Export MarkDown, Generate PNG, DownLoad PDF & Refresh Page buttons #1106

Feature description

Allow us to DISABLE the Export MarkDown, Generate PNG, DownLoad PDF & Refresh Page buttons, as they are very easy to click by mistake, and they trigger an slow/annoying "Exporting in Progress"... any chance to disable it?

Motivation

For Efficiency, we just need the essential: be able to just type and then tab & enter to process the prompt.

Alternatives

After typing, just ENTER or TAB+ENTER should be enough.

Especially with the desktop version. It's impossible to prompt!!! Is widely bugged.

So, bare with me, I've spent a while preparing this post (sans gpt, in fact) because I want to explain exactly why these clickable options are a UI minefield that derails my GPT Pro 4.0 workflows at least once a day (more than that but I want to seem somewhat decent with a mouse).

To start, I have to explain what i'm trying to do when I accidentally click the buttons. I'm building a very complex 'training assistant' to help with cloud-based on-ramping modul--

...You get the point, it's annoying enough that I wrote this sarcastic post while waiting on a Mythical Export, rumored to grow by 2 petabytes each minute. Even Fox Mulder himself would shrug off this fabled payload as a tall tale told by mothers to keep their tensors safe at night.

At this point, I can hear TaskMgr.exe's shotgun cock before I even ask it to kill the process again.

image Seriously, at least make it so those 4 buttons' clickable 'hot zone' doesn't extend horizontally across the entire text box. I'm sure ChatGPT can whip up a fix for this UI bug. It's already creeping into my dealbreaker zone.

You can go to the ChatGPT config folder from Preference menu and delete scripts/export.js. Backup if necessary for you. After deleted the file and restart the application, annoying exporting function buttons should have been disappeared.
