Many thanks for your solution! ChatGPT website automatically changes the alpha lang after the latest update, which probably affects the interface compatibility of this app.
Please try clearing cookies, or switch languages again in the ChatGPT settings.
It only works for an extremely short time. After that it doesn't work again :/
same
I encountered the same issue; after deleting all chat history, it was restored.
There is a way to permanently resolve the problem which must be done on all your applications (ChatGPT application and any browser that has connected to your account).
1.0. Open the ChatGPT app on your desktop
1.2. Click the Help menu
1.3. Then click on Toggle Developer Tools
1.4. Click on the 3 small ones... and then click on Settings
1.5. Select the Preferences menu, then in the Appearance / Language section, select the language English - English
1.6. Then click on your Profile and then click on Settings.
1.7. Click on the General menu and in the Language (Alpha) section select the language English (US)
1.8. You have completed setting up the ChatGPT app
1.0. Open the Edge browser to the ChatGPT page
1.1. Click Profile Settings
1.2. Select the General menu and change the language (Alpha) to English
1.3. Clear your browser cache
Repeat the procedure for other browsers you have connected to ChatGPT under your account otherwise the problem will return.
Once you have applied all these fixes the problem will be permanently resolved and will not return.
It is important to know that your profile on a browser when it is on an Alpha language other than English will cause the problem to transmute to your ChatGPT application!

Resolved:
Non-ChatGPT bug
Version
e.g v1.1.0
Bug description
ChatGPT works, menu features but does not send messages for which it is not possible to interact, text to send keep freezing and never send.
OS
Windows 11
Environment
The problem is that when you accept the Alpha Language (French for me) by clicking on the acceptance to test the Alpha French language the problem arose and it was impossible to send any message on ChatGPT and when restarting the problem persists. You had to clear the cache and cookies at each new session. I then decided to revert to the original ChatGPT interface which is in English and the problem suddenly disappeared. So trying the Alpha language interface other than English causes this problem, best to avoid it for now, I have informed the ChatGPT people about this problem.
