What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Running hijack on my iphone
2. turn up the volume
3. hear the high pitch ringing sound

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
silence

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iphone 3Gs with OS 5.1

Please provide any additional information below.
Is anyone else hearing this ringing sound?  What is going on?
