If AWS Account was supplied in the profile, why not fetching covers
automatically from Amazon via AWS if no cover art can be found in the demanded
resolution?

To suppress false positives, XLD does not pulls cover art automatically unless
MCN (barcode) is read from a disc or MusicBrainz has ASIN data for a disc.

But if xld fetches no cover? Nobody rips/transcode without a cover. If you nor
agree, why not place a checkbox at the place where the AWS account must be
entered?

What do you mean? When AWS account is enabled, you can always browse found
cover arts from CDDB->Search Cover Art (or clicking a placeholder) and choose
it manually.

Again, to suppress false positives.
