refuses to convert certain .flac files (player wont play them either)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set prefs to convert flac to apple lossless
2. drag file onto XLD
3. or drag file onto XLD player

How about the reproducibility (always, sometimes, rarely, ...)?

always on specific files, most flac files work ok.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

small 3kB useless versions of the files are created in the destination folder

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Version 20130720 (144.0)
OSX 10.8.4

The file has unknown (0) total sample number in the FLAC STREAMINFO metadata. 
Current XLD cannot handle this kind of FLAC properly.

Will be fixed in the next update.
