Kinda makes sense, recovery should go unmodified, so that if an issue were to occur, you would revert to the default (superfishy) state.
Thank you for your interest. We are looking into some solutions for this story. Modifying the recovery image has many complications. One positive thought is that the recovery image has antivirus software on it, which after updating definition files will remove Superfish. Again, we are actively seeking the best solution for this.
This tool does not remove Superfish from the recovery partition, meaning that if I restore my system I will be infected again. And if Windows breaks I cannot use a clean image from Microsoft because the product key that comes with the machine only works for the infected version on the recovery partition.
