Lens is no longer developed. The general recommendation is to search for alternative products:

Lens is still very actively developed. https://github.com/lensapp/lens#history-of-this-repository

It's developed as a closed source product. I think you'll find most of the folks who use tooling like this don't really care for closed source products that force you to login and have a subscription.

The Lens group is pretty off-base here. There are a lot of awesome open-source tools now on the market to replace it. Lens will pretty much fade into obscurity.

@atellwu To me it seems that you might be behind some kind of firewall or proxy that is blocking the connection to our services. You can find our IP-Allowlist from our Docs: https://docs.k8slens.dev/lens-id/ip-allowlist/?h=ip+add If there is any doubt if our online services are operational, please find our status page here: https://status.k8slens.dev

@kallisti5 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We understand the importance of open-source for many users. However, this repository focuses on issues related to Lens Desktop product. We'd like to keep our issues and discussions Lens-centric and based on facts. Feel free to share any Lens-specific feedback or ideas you might have!

I'm unwatching all of these. Lens is no longer interesting or relevant now that it is closed source.

Here's a list of other great open source applications to interactively manage kubernetes clusters:

k9s, kdash, Headlamp or Seabird.
