to test

• pull down api branch adamfanslau/ch769/backend-functionality-to-dismiss-card
• rake db:migrate
• rake db:seed
• in rails c, create a CardNotification by CardNotification.create(user: my_user, card: DeepLinkCard.first)

Also, a word of advice, don't test the actual email/text in the simulator. it crashes the simulator every time and xcode gets into a weird state
