DM814x does not boot android #140

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install and build as per
http://code.google.com/p/rowboat/wiki/TI81xxWithMultimediaAcceleration for
DM814x evaluation board. I have chosen the Bleeding-Edge Source.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would have expected the eval board to boot android and to see something
displayed on the touch screen. Instead, it boots linux and nothing on the LCD.

Any idea?

Thanks,
Sylvain

The bootlog seems ok..

Can you check if there is any output on HDMI?

Original comment by vishvesh...@aim.com on 12 Dec 2011 at 7:08

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Yes, the HDMI works fine (I have tried video only).

This board had previously booted linux and the LCD worked fine.

Thanks

Is there a published way to have Android display on the LCD instead of the HDMI
output?

Thanks
