Is it worth including a reference in the appendix as to how this might effect more than ARIA with proposed additions to the spec like the "declarative triggers" in the openuicg's Popup API proposal?
So much of what is broken when it comes to communicate ID based relationships across shadow boundaries is ARIA, but it won't always be the main/only area that leverages these sorts of relationships...
