Sort order within albums #13

I noticed that upon updating albums the sort order on picasa (google+ photos) can become altered.

If possible, it would be great when there is an option to keep albums sorted by date taken.

Hi,

I think from memory that google+ uses upload order by default to order an album. This means updates always get shown first. I don't know any way to fix this, short of deleting every item in the album and re-adding them. If anyone knows any approaches to solving this I'd happily implement them.

Agreed. I browsed quickly through the API and could not find anything on sorting. Pity, as the album sort is supported in the online interface.

In any case, thanks a lot for building picasawebsync, makes my php based semi-broken implementation obsolete.

My pleasure. Shame I can't do the sort stuff, but if the API changes I'll be happy to implement.

I also hope to make a few improvements soonish - just need a moment.
