When updating Goron Link, Grezzo way over-corrected in my opinion when they sped up his punch speed some 300%. It's even so fast that in speedruns the runner will switch to Goron Link on some boss battles purely based on his ridiculously high damage output.
This is a case where I feel the best route to take would be to adjust the punch speed to be somewhere in between the two. So it wouldn't be as sluggish as the n64 version, but would be more balanced and fit the personality and gameplay style of Goron Link better.
