I could not reproduce this. Here are the steps I took:
1. Create a new host using user@example.com
2. Long press on host and change port to something else (e.g., 2222)
3. Try to connect to host
It displays the correct port for me.

Thanks for checking on this. I have upgraded to r404 since my last report (was
r377?), but still see the error.
The problem is that when you create a desktop shortcut for a host, and then
edit the
port number for the host from the host menu, it still uses the old port, or at
least
still displays the old port number. I have not been able to determine the
actual
port number used for the connection.

Oh, the desktop shortcuts aren't tied to the host list. You could completely
remove
the host from your list and it would still connect.
