FR: allow multiple host configurations for same user@host params #211

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

I would like to have multiple host configurations (and open SSH
connections) that all happen to use the same user@host values.

This is useful for e.g. logging into machines behind a bastion host - point
the host config at the bastion host, enable agent forwarding, and set "ssh
other_machine" as the automatically executed command. Repeat for a second
machine also behind the bastion. This is not possible right now -- my
workaround is to run 'screen' or configure multiple aliases in DNS for the
bastion.

You can edit the host and change the nickname for the entry.

Long press on the host in the host list and edit host.

Gosh darn it, I should have figured that out.

Chalk this up to a FAQ entry rather than a feature request.

thanks!
