Let’s put more value on the http://wp.org profiles we have. With proposals like using them instead of the Twitter handle for WordCamps or looking for new ways to leverage them with ideas to measure Five for the Future. And maybe in the future, they will be the gateway to a new platform as Meetup for all our local events.

I love Juan’s idea around http://WordPress.org profile. It can be more powerful that it is now, to reflect more contributions of the individual in addition to the badges.

May be needed need more input on how we can put more value to these profiles. Without a clear action plan, executing this goal is difficult.

I would love to see more of usage of Profile pages. If the profile page consists of Twitter handle name, it could possibly replace it. And would be lovely to see what each other do within the community at the event badges.

we allowed to link to other profile than twitter at WCSwitzerland and we saw on the attendees page that if we link to the wordpress.org profile, the link is very long. It would be great to have a shorter domain linking directly to our profiles. For example have the "profiles" subdomain also working on wp.org on top of wordpress.org

We could add a badge for people volunteering at WordCamps?
