Let us remember that the standard TeX hyphenation rules, proposed by José João Dias Almeida, total, in a set of 37,798 words, 1,368 errors, of which 1,273 correspond to places where the hyphenation was not carried out and 125 to mistaken markings. Faced with the errors made by the standard hyphenator, a set of 134 rules were established, which reduced the errors to 132, with 118 places where the hyphenation was not marked and 35 where there was erroneous marking. Such rules are presented and exemplified below, as well as the necessary exception rules and an example in which the application of the rule is demonstrated.
