Thinkpad dock audio support for T470p #7

I tried replacing the codec to the correct value in hda-jack-reconfigure.fw for my T470p (0x17aa505d) but being a much newer model I imagine that the pinout is different as well.

How did you find out the pinout configuration for the X240/T440 etc? Perhaps the same process can work for the T470p
