Proposal

Have you looked into using Vosk as a backend?

My tests with DeepSpeech, Coqui STT, and Vosk indicate that Vosk runs on older hardware and with higher accuracy.

Thanks for suggesting. Yes indeed, Vosk should be implemented before the official released as you can see on this roadmap card.

I am glad it is on your radar. I just did not see it mentioned anywhere here.

I am interested in documenting Vosk at the moment. I just wanted to make sure you knew about Vosk as the accuracy with Coqui STT was not as good.

Well understood. I will keep this issue opened until the implementation of Vosk.

Whisper has been very good since Vosk as well. https://github.com/ggerganov/whisper.cpp/
