Note: If this is a troubleshooting or help question, please first look in
the FAQ (http://bit.ly/ny4EG), search in the Google Group
(http://bit.ly/2Ph5h) and post your question there!

This form is only for technical issues or bugs, thank you. If you post a
troubleshooting question here you will NOT receive help.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a standard fade transition but instead receive no animation. The
image does change and seems to adhere to the duration/delay options.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
browser?

Windows 7 - Current Stable & Dev versions of Chrome

Please provide any additional information below.

Trying to use the newest version on this website and the transition does not
work in the current or dev versions of Chrome. It does, however work in IE9.
This version, however, does work but I can't find any documentation on how to
implement it properly:

We'd like to launch our site soon and utilize this script, if possible...
Please let me know if there's a work-around.

no fade in chrome 13.0.782.112, the image is just changing...

Same thing here, looks like somewhere along the line the build was broken.

Can someone verify that this is still a problem when the slideshow is served up
via the web (ie a url beginning with http://). I have had no problems using
slideshow with Chrome, only when opening the web page via the filesystem (a url
beginning with file://) that I see the behavior described here. That's not
really a bug I would address in that case...

I get this

32event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will
be removed from the engine in the near future.

is it related?
