Hi Leonardy,
Looks good, this exercise is intended in part to give you an introduction to the general rhythm of this course. The course is entirely project-based with an app being assigned each week and then due the following week. Each project builds on the last to help each engineer learn the practical elements of Android development and best practices as quickly as possible. We also do a code review for each submitted project once the program begins.
The next step is to continue work on extensions to your todo app. With regards to extensions to implement, we are looking for developers with an interest in user experience and product development so be sure to focus on additional functional enhancements and/or improving the user interface of the app. Please ping us back for a review once you've added a few extensions.
Hey there @nesquena cc: @codepathreview @codepath
So I took some time and redesigned the whole application with emphasizes on the UX and aesthetics (and I cleared most of the suggestions on extending the application too, please do check it).
I'm aware that today is the deadline of the project submission and thus with the number of submissions CodePath received in the past weeks, the cohort might have been filled completely. If that was really the case, can I still follow the course by being an observer? (and if possible, meeting up with the team to get feedback on projects created along the curriculum).
Many thanks!
Great, thanks for the update and glad to see you got a number of optionals implemented. We will be determining final admittance into the program over the next couple weeks. For those not admitted as participants, we will offer access to applicants as a remote observer cohort that has access to the materials and is able to work on the projects at their own pace. You will be hearing from us again soon.
Hello there CodePath team. The first version of the Todo app is completed, please do review it @codepathreview @codepath
