Creating a new branch via the extension doesn't show that branch in the dropdown #123

Repro steps:

  1. Use the extension to create a new branch via the "Create new branch" option in the Branch dropdown
  2. Once created, note that it is not listed in the dropdown (note that it will show up if you refresh the page)

Expected: When creating a new branch, it should be listed on the Branch dropdown and the extension should switch to that branch
