Rm and prevent .DS_Store files from being in the repo. #2

.DS_Store files are invisible files on macOS that store attributes of the containing folder but are included in Git if not explicitly ignored.

This pull request removes the existing .DS_Store files from the repo and adds a .gitignore file to prevent them from being automatically added in the future.
