About SPIN: 15 PhD projects spread over nine European universities, all focusing on advancing seismic observation, theory and hazard assessment. Within this SPIN community, we organise monthly Friday workshops to keep in touch with each other and widen/deepen our view on a topic related to our research and being a scientist in general.
Topic: The importance of open science.
Format: 20 – 30 min presentation, followed by the opportunity to ask questions for the attendees. Afterwards, meet in GatherTown.
This workshop would be the first exposure of most of the students to open science. The topic is framed very wide, and you could choose to either do a broad overview or focus on any topic you think is of particular interest or relevance.
Tutorial for PhD students at the SPIN is an Innovative Training Network (ITN).
