We didn't covrer coordinates at all in the practicals or lectures so images had random northing/easting dimensions. Can they couldn't merge two images together. It would be good to cut some of the lecture material on too theoretical concepts from the beginning to include some part about georeferencing images. This might require using more advanced remote sensing libraries (satpy or earthpy perhaps).
