(1) what you’ve worked on in the previous two weeks: I worked on testing out different ways of playing youtube and spotify songs in a web application. I tried the youtube iframe api but decided to go with react player, and I tried the spotify iframe api and spent time trying to get the volume to work but it just wouldn't so I'm going to have to try to use the spotify web playback instead (which is arguably more complicated).
(2) what you’ll be working on in the next two weeks, and I'll be working on getting the spotify web player integrated, including all the advanced controls, and when that's done I want to make the UI for the song player component.
(3) where you might have gotten stuck during the last two weeks.
I really wanted to get the volume control working for the spotify iframe api since it's a lot simpler than the web playback but it's impossible so I've decided to just use the playback sdk.

(1) what you’ve worked on in the previous two weeks,
I worked on the playlist list component that is currently meant to be displayed in the homepage. I also investigated the spotify web playback sdk.
(2) what you’ll be working on in the next two weeks, and
integrating the playlist list component with other components, helping with the spotify integration, and improving styling of the playlist list.
(3) where you might have gotten stuck during the last two weeks.

Describe (for the project):
These should be quite short (a sentence for each of the three items above).
