Can you update the source file? it seems the required stuff are no longer in emacs and hence it is not working #27

Emacs version:28.1 and upwards
Most of the required packages are not there and it is stopped working.
Specifically, fetching stuff from Goodreads and probably other places too, not working.
Error: Failed to fetch the url from Goodreads
Tried with org-capture-template and manually.
P.S.: Do NOT change the functionality of the original package.
