blender version compatibility #9

Hi recently Aria @ACoraor and I found that blender scripts only works when the blender version 2.76-2.79, maybe this could be added to the 1cpn documentation? I didn't directly modify the rst because it seems that the documentation for blender has a little bit portion unfinished?

I recall @jmoller93 mentioning this issue previously and that the updated the blender scripts to work with the newer versions. Do you have any of his old scripts? Perhaps this issue has already been solved...

Josh noted before he graduated that he had an updated version of these scripts which, among other things, allowed "movie" visualizations of multiple timesteps -- but I don't believe he passed on any of these scripts before he departed. I'm doing some performance updates on the import_dump.py, and may add a warning regarding the version, but I (and Yiheng) don't have offhand any version that works with Blender below 2.70 or above 2.80.
