bios 3.00 = 1.00? #8

is it correct that this bios 3.00 download https://github.com/lertsoft/GPD_WIN4/releases/tag/v3.00 for 16gb version reports itself as version 1.00 after flashing it?

Hey! Yes that is the correct behavior. Some of us on the discord speculate it is because GPD provided the BIOS file to someone with a 32gb version, and that GPD designed the BIOS on a 32gb version WIN 4 but did not checked the version on a 16gb version.

TLDR; BIOS 3.00 on 32gb WIN 4 = BIOS 1.00 on 16gb WIN 4.

I will update the release to make that info more obvious.
