Borg Tac Cube vfx error #188

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Research and build Borg Tac cube

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Whenever the Borg Tac cube fires, instead of a "fire signature" left behind
on the cube, small white boxes are present (probably a mesh error).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SOA2 V0.4E Hotfix, Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
I am not at all thrilled at how I was responded to in my previous issue
Josh (and BTW this is QuicktoDraw in case you didn't know).  I already
posted how to solve my previous issue, but I will repost it here in case
you didn't get it.

Ah ha!!!!  I found what the problem was!!!  I had the "Show Mesh Team
Colors" on and that's what created the problem!!!

Be sure to put that into your read me, so that people won't keep that
turned on and have the same problem.

Actually any borg ship with a cutting beam has this problem. I believe we are 
missing
muzzle effects for it. If the muzzle effects are the effects that are supposed 
to
show the weapon leaving the firing ship that is. Either way probably a weapon 
effect
missing.

Thanks AsuranDragon, my mind was a bit fuddled by that point on how to describe 
it (a
few days with little to no sleep will do that), but that sounds like it was the 
most
likely reason.  I didn't know if they had been put in or not yet, but I felt 
that it
was worth addressing.

Jtaylor, I don't know which problem you are referring to, but as far as I can 
tell
neither are addressed in the read me file.  For the vfx error with no muzzle fx 
for
the borg, the only occurrence that I could see that might allude to that is 
found
under "Changes from 0.3e.102 to 0.3e.9(public test) and 0.4e".  It states:

Weapon effects re-done

As for the whole "Ship Mesh Highlight Filter" fiasco, the optional tweaks say to
either disable it or mod it yourself.  At nowhere in the document does it 
mention to
disable the "Show Mesh Team Colors" option in order to not have such errors.

Sorry if I had just been the "final straw that broke the camels back", I was 
just
trying to make sure that everything in the mod was known about.  I know that 
these
bugs aren't "show stoppers", but every piece of aesthetic counts (you know what 
I am
talking about jtaylor).

All these issues are now fixed.  The Borg weapon particles were referencing 
textures
that no longer exist in the mod, but they now have a brand new set of weapon 
effects
and sounds that all work brilliantly.
