opponent Borg ships randomly defect

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Unfortunately, could not deduce a pattern. Was playing as Klingons.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected borg ships to remain in their faction. In a single large game,2 times 
I saw borg spheres defect to my faction.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Diplomacy 1.19rf March '11 release, Windows 7

There is a Klingon ship that has boarding teams (one of the capitals I think) 
that can capture ships. Maybe that is what is was?
