We are trying the mod extensively, and we have just
bumped into something pretty unoticable until you
reach all the developpement.
We are playing on a 6 players multiplayer game
2 human and 4 IA.
One of the IA is Federation and we are trying
to kill one of it's starbase.
The trouble is that even with 2 whole fleets
and 2 starbase we are unable to get it down.
It slide slowly to 295'000 shield and poof
back to 305'000.
The second player is playing Federation too
and he managed to build his own starbase
under the fire of that one and reach the
maximum shield and maximum upgrade
as he was constantly under fire.
In my fleet i had the maximum possible number of Capital
and my friend had the same.
I had 20 Ogrov and he had 20+ of the Fed structure destroyers.
(the stars, i never remember their names).
Looks like the regeneration of the Fed starbase
scale up out of control when reaching some point
in the research tree.
I did not have the same trouble with the Klingon
Starbase as those 20 ogrovs always were enough to
kill them. But at the same time i'm not sure
the klingon AI had any of it's starbase fully
upgraded.
