Installing for Max 2012 fails #166

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run installer for Max
2. Installer fails

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Installer should run since Max 2012 is present, instead it halts and says Max 
in not installed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.3.0 64-bit on Win 7.

Please provide any additional information below.

None.

Note that if I extract the contents of the MSI file and install the exporter 
manually, I get an error saying the "entry point not found" in core.dll.
