User-set image handling size threshold? #28

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Can you let the user set the threshold for shrinking images? The stable
build has a checkbox for shrinking images larger than 800x600, but I don't
care about tall images - only fat, table-breaking ones.
If you could put in a text field defaulting to 800x600, but allowing users
to change the pixel widths themselves, that would be super-helpful to
people like me who don't care about tall images, and also people with
high-resolution monitors.

Oh, sweet. This isn't supposed to be a defect, but I don't think I can change
that.

Currently in the 2.0 nightly as extensions.salastread.maxWidthOfConvertedImages
and
extensions.salastread.maxHeightOfConvertedImages
No interface has been written for it yet

Checked in update to pref-images.xul to expose this functionality today.
Should be
in the nightly.

the prefs pane is ugly, no doubt. Functional though and no complaints have
been lodged.
